Companies in Cornwall could be making business insurance claims after the county was hit by flooding.
Storms brought heavy rain to the area, causing chaos on roads as drivers were forced to abandon their cars.
Helicopters had to be flown in to rescue those stranded in vehicles, homes and business premises.
A landslide also occurred, blocking the main train line into Cornwall and effectively cutting off the county from the rest of the UK.
Many of the main roads into Cornwall are also closed due to what police described as a "major flooding incident".
The rain came after the Met Office and the Environment Agency issued weather warnings for the south-east.
Companies directly affected by the floods could be claiming on their business insurance policies to cover the cost of damage to their premises.
Many more could find that business insurance proves useful in covering for interruption to their operations if the county remains cut off.
