Business insurance holders need to think about the benefits of search engine optimisation (SEO) when creating their marketing strategies, according to an expert.
Director of marketing at WordStream Tom Demers said that the method is a mixture of promotional disciplines using content creation.
He remarked: "I think it will be the most cost-efficient and broadly effective form of marketing digital or otherwise."
Mr Demers added social networking sites will prove valuable in helping business insurance holders beef up their brands along with other forms of advertising.
A report by Practical eCommerce revealed that 95 per cent of participants believe SEO is important to their firms.
It also showed that 40.6 per cent of business insurance holders and others noted they understood SEO and how to use it to improve operations.
The poll stated that business insurance holders who participated believe their websites are set up to take advantage of SEO methods.
