Which insurance policies would you need to cover against the Grinch?

It’s the time of year when we must be vigilant against a green menace who is determined to destroy Christmas. We are, of course, talking about the Grinch!

On at least three separate occasions, in 1966, 2000 and even as recently as November 2018, the Grinch has hatched plans to steal presents and decorations in an attempt to ruin Christmas, so what would you need to protect against the Grinch this Christmas? Take a look at the infographic below:

Contents insurance is the first insurance you would need when thinking about protecting yourself against a thief such as the Grinch, but there are other insurance covers that you should consider to save your Christmas, such as Business Interruption, Public Liability, Buildings Cover and Identity Theft.

Whilst it would be difficult to insure the Grinch on the grounds of being a moral hazard, he might also need insurance for his activities such as cover for his sleigh, his tools and his loyal friend, Max.

Whilst Christmas brings joy to million around the globe, unfortunately, many ‘other’ grinches use this time of year as an opportunity to steal new equipment, technology or gadgets.
